Cannot get my husbands email up after our clmputer was clean out after a hacking

My bank acct was hacked and it was suggested that we have our computer "cleaned out". Did so via geek squad at BestBuy. Now my husbands email is no longer! Unfortunately he does not know his password and its not saved anywhere. It is info@dennistownsend.com and he has had it for many years through Thunderbird. The tech that came to the could not help at all. I tried to get a new email but it kept wanting to send info to hos email. Daaa he can't access it!! Can we set up a new email using the same address or similar. We are seniors and both computer illiterate so need help... please hecis devastated!

You can get a new password from whoever set up the dennistownsend.com web hosting. That is, you're paying someone an annual fee for the site and they may have what you need. It appears to me that register.com may have the domain name and might even do the hosting. Whoever is wanting to send a new password is the person to speak with. The Geek Squad should have kept copies of everything they 'fixed', so you might see if they retained all files.
