There is a crt file that I need to download for my VPN service. I need to simply download the file and place it in a specific directory. However, firefox won't give me the option to download the file. It only wants to import it.

Right click the link and use "Save Link as" to save the file.

This is a bummer. I try to log in and it tells me that my user name is invalid. This is still xioc1138.

I'm aware of the right click trick - the trouble is that I don't have a link, just a URL that I copy and paste into the address bar. I ended up making an HTML page and downloaded the link that way - I'd still like to know if there is a way to prevent firefox from trying to import crt files.

Try to clear the support.mozilla.com cookies. This server doesn't like changes to the user agent and I'm always logged of after a browser update.
