The text areas in www.broadstairsfoodfestival.org.uk/Events.html are flashing when viewed in Firefox.

the page has been cleared through W3C so I'm puzzled it was editable using Surreal CMS so I tried removing the div class=editable code . . but that hasnt cured it

You may want to consider asking this in the Web Development forum at mozillaZine. There are some knowledgeable developers there who can assist developers there.
