Firefox has recently stopped opening my saved tabs when it 1st opens. This was working fine until a couple of days ago. I have checked settings under Tools/Options&it is set to open previous pages when I start Firefox but this is not working?

If you use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox in Firefox 3.5 and later to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.
Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.
