Why does spellchecker keep truning itself off?

The check box next to "check my spelling as I type" is constantly unchecking itself. Every time I restart Firefox it loses this setting and I have to go into preferences and turn it back on a again.

You can start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
