I agree, it is painfully slow and uses suffers badly from memory leakage compared to 3.6.1.x.

Mozilla is blaming poorly coded addons, and have released their Top 10 list of addon shame - which is going to be updated weekly.

Wow how many of us use Firebug literally every single day? That is a huge issue for me. FF 4.0 is running like a dog and I am really disappointed at this point.
