I can't seem to open a 2nd window or open my mail

My computer was fine yesterday and today I could open 1 window then I minimized it and tried to open a 2nd window and nothing. I can get to my aol account on the first window but not able to open mail. I have used the control alt delete process, but do not have the addons they say to delete. We don't want to lose our bookmarks in this process. Can you help. We did a restart and installed a new firefox cleaned everything and no help. Thanks, Debbie

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
