I have just downloaded the latest version of firefox and think it is awful, how do I get the old version back?

After getting a prompt on screen stating there was a new version of firefox available I clicked and downloaded. I think it is awful and either want to revert back to the old version or will try another provider. Can anyone help me get the older version? Will I have to un-install and re-install the older version?>
