Your update says it will disable Kaspersky add-ons. Who updates them and if it's Kaspersky, have they been notified?

Update says Kaspersky add-on's are not compatible and will be disabled. Who's responsible for making them compatible, and if it's Kaspersky, have they been notified? Also, should I go ahead with the update, or wait until the notice disappears from the update popup?
