Suddenly an open Firefox window has no response to efforts to close open tabs. Neither clicking on the "x" in open tabs, nor the keyboard shortcut Command+W have any effect. The "x" does highlight when hovered upon, and appears to react to the click, but nothing results. I could not close the tab which opened just now for Troubleshooting Information. AND YET, I open a second Firefox window and everything functions normally.
