I have a mac osx with parallels 6 and windows XP I need to download firefox for windows xp using safari. how do i do this?

osx 10.7.1 and parallels 6 to run windows xp. my windows internet explorer is useless due to virus. so i have to use my mac safari for download of firefox. however, so far it will only download the .dmg file not the .exe file i need. how can i overcome this?
