Firefox kept crashing when loading certain websites. I followed the instructions to load Firefox in safe mode. problem did not occur. I eventually got a message saying the computer had been hijacked and could effect my browser settings. The culprit appeared to be Google which I blocked via the advice screen. Seems to have cured problem. Thought this my be of help to others and wonder if anybody else has had the same thing?

If you still have problems with crashes please

  1. read the article: firefox crashes
  2. if you have problems with crashes and are using Fireox's safe mode
    • please navigate to about:crashes
    • post a couple of recent CrashIDs into your next message

Are you restricted to using Firefox in safe mode in order to prevent crashes?
