When I start Mozilla, I get a 2nd page with advertisements. Why? At first it didnt bother me too much, but now they are x-rated advertisements.
advertisements are one thing, x-rated with extreme graphics is another and is unacceptable. the 2nd page that comes up says "Mozilla advertisement" at the top of the page.

First, try to reset Firefox. Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings. This simple step will eliminate many Firefox problems with only one click.
A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this: Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.
I can assure you this is nothing to do with Firefox or Mozilla (Other than you are using a Mozilla Firefox bowser and Mozilla sites/forums.) The only advertising - if you consider it such - is links relating to our own products and activities (and pre installed search engines).
I am guessing you have inadvertently installed some sort of software, or are getting popups from some site you are using.

It may help if you attach a screenshot, but with the graphic images edited out. Windows utility MS paint can be used to obliterate/cover parts of a screenshot and allow it to be re-saved.
