searchnu.com downloads or piggybacks in on mozilla download, cannot get mozzila to run. update did it
I downloaded update for Mozilla, in its place I get the seachnu.com as my web browser. i tried to manually over ride it, but it hijacks the web browser and is the only one that shows up. i looked it up on web and found that it piggybacks in on downloads, then hides itself while taking over web browser.
i removed mozilla and ran a search for searchnu on computer, but after downloading and removing mozilla several times, it always shows back up when I download latest version of mozilla. I can use google, which I hate and it also removes all my favorites when I have to remove mozilla.
Is there anyway to fix this problem? I have Kasperskey security on computer and its not detecting anything to remove, and since it hides itself, I have no idea what to look for to remove.
It also has slowed my computer web browsing down.
Any suggestions?
