Keep getting logged out
While on etrade.com I keep getting logged out numerous times everyday.This never happened until I updated to 17. Sometimes I can click back and it will still be logged on,most times that doesn't work. It does not happen on Chrome or IE. I have tried clearing the cache,does not help. I have added etrade.com to the exceptions and checked allow.

Are you talking about cookie exceptions? If you are allowing them to set cookies, you should stay logged in if the cookies are persistent. Are you clearing cookies when you exit Firefox? Check the settings in Options > Privacy > Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings.
Yes cookie exceptions. I have the clear history box checked when firefox closes.
Correction, I am running firefox 18.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
- do not clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
- Tools > Options > Privacy: History: [X] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
I did not have site preferences checked,but did have clear cookies checked when I close firefox.
This log out problem happens after I log in,I'm on that site all day.I do not log out until the end of the day or shut down the computer.I get logged off several times a day when I either refresh the page or click on something else on the same page.
You can't remove the cookies that way.
You will have to un-tick the Cookies box and let the cookies expire when you close Firefox.
That way only cookies that do not have an allow exception will be removed.
I tried it that way this morn,and I'm still getting logged out.
