Automatic download actions are linked to a specific MIME type, so you may have to check for which content (MIME) type you have made that choice (Opties > Toepassingen).

If you can't set an automatic action then that usually means that the server doesn't send a content type or that a generic content type is used.
Such automatic actions tend to be tricky in Firefox.
