If the add-on was disabled, it still should be listed and you can check for updates.
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
The disabled extensions cluster at the bottom on a darker background. Can you find it there and discover its name?
To check for updates automatically, you can click the "gear" button at the top of the page, then choose Check for Updates.
Sometimes there is a hidden update available that hasn't yet been cleared for automatic download. If you can find the add-on's name, you can check its page on the add-ons site.
I just noticed you have Greasemonkey installed. If the function was provided by a userscript -- a separate section of the add-ons page -- it's possible that you might need to update the script due to a change in Firefox 22.
i checked every add-on no disabled ones and updated all the add-ons one by one but didn't help and i think the add on is auto deleted after the update the other problem is i can't remember it's name
Add-ons are not auto-deleted as far as I know...
It's possible that the extension or userscript simply doesn't work correctly in Firefox 22 due to a change in Firefox. If you look at the add-on pages, often the reviews will mention whether the add-on is broken in a new release.
If you have done any graphics driver updates recently, you also could be hitting a compatibility issue. Try disabling Firefox's use of hardware graphics acceleration.
You usually need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If you restart Firefox, is the issue improved at all?
i checked all of those solutions but still i didn't find the missing i'm pretty sure the extension is deleted and the greasemonkey is for a game script only
the thing that could be a solution for my problem is if i could have a data file of all add ons that i have or to undo the update
Hi lgvxfyze, you can copy/paste a list of extensions from the following page:
Help > Troubleshooting Information
However, that probably is the same list you already know about from the Add-ons > Extensions page.
Similarly, the about:plugins page lists vast amounts of information about your plugins, but I don't this it lists any that you can't already see on the Add-ons > Plugins page.
What version of Firefox were you running just before the update: Firefox 21 or something earlier?
Firefox 21 and yea the add-ons are the same
the problem is that extension is really really useful i just hope now that any one who read this can identify the extension i will re-describe it if you hover the mouse over any click able content the extension gives you option to get the sources of this content if pic on face book it gives you te source on facebook server and on the cdn server and if on twitter it gives you the normal pic and another pic with large extension and if a video on youtube it gives you all the kinds of the servers that this video is related to it all of those was on small icons if you hover then click what you want from them
Are you sure that this is provided by one of the installed extensions that isn't working properly in the current Firefox release?
Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created it, so normally it wouldn't be there. You may want to check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so involved preferences can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
- Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
- NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/
That usually works better than increasing the minimum font size because that can cause issues with overlapping text on pages that use absolute positioning.
You can use this extension to adjust the font size for the user interface.
- Theme Font & Size Changer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
actually it isn't a script and i'm pretty sure of that
i thought of a temporary solution for this issue i downloaded Firefox 21 and disabled the auto update the add on got working again but idk which one it is and here is the pic of what the add on do
It's interesting that the overlay/tooltip includes the destination site's favicon -- not just information from the image link.
A few questions:
- Does this come up when you simply mouse over the image or do you have to do anything to cause it to appear?
- What is the little green-ish globe icon for: does that provide information about the destination of a link associated with the image?
- Does the overlay/tooltip have any interactivity if you click/right-click it?
- If you check your add-ons, do you notice any changes? You can compare the list behind the "More System Details" link to the right of your original post.
(It's interesting that the overlay/tooltip includes the destination site's favicon -- not just information from the image link. ) yea that's why i kinda liked that add-on so much to me it's one of the best out there
- Yea , just hovering my mouse will do the job and appear that small icons
i can even middle click it with the scroll ball to open it in a new tab
- Since it's like an analyzing tool it gives me the whole options to this link
and this is the source url of the pic and the other is the image itself
- I tried it for you and the normal right click appeared with no extra options came out of it just like clicking right click on anywhere
- Nope , and that's what drove me crazy
even now no changes at all no changes no thing at all maybe the Firefox 22 disabled the function of some part of that add-on not all of it that's why it went through the compatibility test after the update
now all i have is to disable every plugin and start activate it one by one till i know it's name and i will answer here what is it's name thanks for all the supports who tried to help =D
Zgjidhja e Zgjedhur
yea exactly that is what i can see on youtube but the problem now that it is not working on FF 22 any way thanks for your help =D
The comments on the extension's page indicate that the extension may not work in all cases, so it is possible that YouTube made changes that prevent the extension from recognizing some redirect links.
This extension actually is a packaged up userscript. Try disabling the extension and using the userscript instead. Perhaps the compiler used to convert the userscript into an extension needs an update?

Edit: On image search results, the mouseovers don't seem to work on dynamically added (AJAX) results. A page reload cures that, but the script needs to be updated for the latest site design.
