I have 7 sites on my new tab page. Whenever I get on any other site or even different pages on these sites I've selected, and restart my computer, all the pages and sites I've view previously show up on my "new tab" page. I only want the 7 sites I've selected to show up and no other sites. I'm sick of having to have to delete all those unwanted pages and sites that I looked at the last time. How do I set my new tab page to only show those 7 I selected and nothing else but those 7 sites.

You can drag bookmarks and history items in each of the 9 tiles on the about:newtab page to pin websites that you want to see. You can pin a about:blank page or another page (e.g. about:home) to the two remaining tiles fill the last two tiles.
