Why is Firefox for android using 26% of my mobile's CPU when I'm not using it?
When I left Firefox there weren't even any pages loaded - (just about:home)
This will cause unnecessary battery drain.
So why does Firefox use so many CPU cycles for about:home, is it running javascript for a page I closed? (wired.com)

Hi!
Could you provide the current version of Firefox that is running on your device as well as the type of device you have (Brand, Model, Android version).
Thanks!

Samsung Galaxy Note II model GT-N7100 Android 4.3 Firefox 26.0.1
...But it's not doing it again, worth keeping an eye on but ok for now.
Hi, I've also noticed Firefox v27 (updated Feb 2014) is using 25% cpu on android v4.1.2 on a galaxy s2. I have no addons installed. Im on a rooted phone and can run the linux 'top' command. Firefox doesn't appear to exit properly when I press the home key and it sits on it's home screen flattening the phones battery all day long.
