Can't manage Yahoo mail with Firefox
On my wife's Dell with Windows Vista Home, Yahoo mail suddenly quit functioning in Firefox. We can access the email account; however, everything is then frozen. We can't open any email. Other areas of Yahoo present no problem. Her email works fine in Explorer, Safari, and Chrome. I checked to ensure plugins were current and none are listed as presenting problems with Yahoo Mail. I've cleared cache and cookies with no results. What's next?

Most email providers offer a web-based service, which allows users to log in to their account using a web browser like Firefox in order to send and receive email. Questions about the functionality, features or the interface of your webmail service might not be specific to the web browser you're using though.
Your webmail provider will likely provide a support section on its website which answers the most frequent questions and offers a way to report technical problems.
Here you can find help for some popular webmail services:
- Gmail/Google Mail: https://support.google.com/mail/

Thanks for the catch. I “assumed” Firefox updates were automatic! The update resolved the issue. I’ll retreat back to my Mac now.
