emails come in my pc's correct time, but go out one hour ahead of my pc's time
Hello, for the past two weeks, (maybe after a T-b upograde?) any emails I send become time-stamped one hour advanced from the actual correct time from my pc. .(yet, all emails rec'd come in my pc's correct time, along with my Juno server's correct time) My T-bird's calendar is set to my nearest time-zone (matching my Evansville, Indiana time zone)--actually Tell City, IN is closest, yet it remains Chicago, Illinois, both of them comply with DST. I've reconfigured ports, POP and SMTP in various ways, which has made no difference for smtp to send at correct time. Also, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Tb & it's server info, etc. which hasn't helped. I've spend hours on internet searches for answers to this problem, as many other T-B users have also expressed frustration with this same hour advanced problem, but so far, nothing suggested has worked for me. I am still open to any suggestions for correcting this smtp incorrect advanced hour time-stamp that anyone out there might kindly offer. ~ Thanks.

Thunderbird uses your computer settings when it comes to date, time, timezone. However, it is possible there is more than one registry setting in Windows OS due to Windows OS updates.
Assuming you are using Windows 10 OS.
- In search type Date
- Select 'Date and Time settings'
Q: Do you have the following settings ?
- 'set the time automatically' - select 'ON'
- 'set the time zone automatically' - select 'OFF'
- Time Zone : select 'Central Time (US & Canada)'
- 'Adjust for daylight saving time automatically' - select 'ON'.
