Unable to search for new mails
I have transferred my mails from old hard drive to a new hard drive and was able to transfer the old mails from copy the folder from old hard drive. Now I have noticed that all the new mails which are added to the mail box are visible in the inbox and send mail box however when I try to search the mail , it shows no mail found however if I scroll down and check I am able to search the mail . Do suggest what needs to be done to set up this mail box .

Hi Matt, Thanks for sharing the steps . I have followed the step to delete global-messager-db.sqlitefile and have checked tools >activity manager...I was not able to view the required activity details. Also I checked the file after 1 hr at "profile" path if it is recreated . I see it is not there.

The rebuild can be very slow as it is only done when the computer is not busy. I am talking potentially 24hours slow, although last time I rebuilt mine of was only a few hours as I was out shopping.

Thanks for suggesting the steps , It has still not recreated the global-messager-db.sqlite file . Facing same issue . Any suggestions .
