Left panel suddenly changed, a file folder of emails disappeared
Happened over the last month. The left panel display I had since the beginning (maybe 8 years) suddenly vanished. It had all the inbox accounts listed first, then all the sent accounts, then the drafts, the junks, the archives and so on. I wanted to create a file folder for a set of emails from a course, the only place I could do it was way down the list in some illogical place, I think the outbox section. It was fine. However, now the display suddenly changed and my file folder has completely disappeared. I changed to IMAP from POP3 so I don't even have the originals on my email server. Help! Thanks.

All I have is the new display, of course. Can't show you old screen.
From your screenshot there's nothing obvious which looks wrong to me. Can you explain the difference to the 'old screen'?
The old screen left column had the reverse headings. New screen has main headings listed by email accounts, with subheadings Inbox, Draft, Sent, Archives, Junk, Trash under each one. Old screen had main headings of Inbox, Draft, Sent, Archives, Junk Trash, with subheadings of my email accounts.

OH my gosh! That was simple! And I thought I tried everything meaningful already. Guess "unified" is a geeky code word. Sometimes all new emails from all accounts are listed together on the same page, I thought THAT was unified. Thank you SO much Zenos!!
