After FF4-Upgrade, the program doesn't work - when i start, i have a window of 20sec, after which every click gets an error sound, i can only close it via the task manager). What can i do apart from reinstalling it?

so i upgraded to firefox4, everything seemed to work, except a few of my add-ons weren't supported. i started the program and tried to click on the tab-bar... and got an error sound.

wherever i clicked, i got the error sound, as if there were another window open waiting for me to click "ok" or something - but there isn't.

this happened again after i closed the program (via the task manager, cause the x also causes the error sound), it happened again after i rebooted.

but for like 10-20 seconds after starting the program, i can click, open new tabs, type, no error sound. always kicks in after that

Is there another solution apart from installing it one more time?

Update: I tried reinstalling firefox, same thing happened again. When i stopped the process "plugin-container for firefox", i could use parts of firefox (didn't get an error sound) for a while, until the process "plugin-container" startet again.

so what am i to do? switch to chrome?
