installing the new version of firefox - it said the my anti virus , kaspersky, wouldn't work. true???
when i went to install new version or firefox i got a window saying kaspersky, antivirus, would not work or be disabled. it also mentioned some other programs. i stopped installation because i did not want to lose my virus protection.
what do i do? did i read this correct?

You read correctly but what it meant was "Those programs will not work in Firefox". Meaning they cannot be Integrated with Firefox. They will work fine individually.
You can download & install the latest version from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
