All computers during bootup are trying to load all of its system and other programs. This creates a 'bottleneck' that slows down the system until everything has been cleared.

Try waiting a few minutes before starting any programs.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
