I have added a two factor authorization and when I sign it it asks me to check my app and enter code. I have no clue as how to do this. I have googled it and it says download google authenticator app and that doesn't work so how in the world do I get the code to enter it . I had to disable two factor because your systems makes no sense, usually you send the code to a phone number not an app that doesn't exist.

You need to check on google support page for their authenticator app and how to use it to do the 2FA authorization process. Firefox 2FA sends to registered login email to verify the login should there be login issue or passwords reset. Firefox reset doesn't send to number only email or through apps that is registered to use Firefox 2FA authentication methods.

When you enable 2FA then you would have to confirm this by providing the TOTP response code from an authenticator app, so I'm not sure how you managed to enable 2FA, but aren't aware of the authenticator app.
