When Firefox is open - I will try to connect to Facebook.com. One of 2 things happen: Either the page will not open and the spinning circle will continue to spin until I close the page or Facebook will open but will not load pictures or any of the page correctly. I have deleted my cookies - which has not helped. I also cannot open Facebook in IE.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Try doing what I did which definately improved Facebooks page loading, set your PC Network internet properties to 'OpenDNS'. It's perfectly safe and makes and awesome difference, depending your operating sys do a Google for instructions, it was quite easy. Once thats done flush DNS. In RUN type CMD, then in there type ipconfig /flushdns click Enter and voila!
