quicktime plugin crashes
My quicktime plugin started crashing when viewing movie trailers in trailers.apple.com
the trailer starts playing and after a few seconds it stops and the crash image appears. I can't press the "send crash report" button for some reason. the plugin is up to date.
Thanks!

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.
Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.
To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.Crashes or other problems with certain multimedia content in Firefox (such as Youtube videos and Flash animations or games) can often be resolved by performing the steps in these Knowledge Base articles:
On Windows Vista and above, you can disable Flash protected mode by following the instructions on these pages:
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Flash#Disabling_Protected_Mode_in_Flash_11.3
(See this Adobe blog post for technical details about Flash protected mode.)
Please tell us if this helped!

As I stated in my question, the plugin is already up to date, and it's the quicktime plugin.
I've got all my apps/ add ons/ plugins updated to the max, and firefox still can't play itunes trailers.... used to but not any more. Can start some but never get far. The answer is no help. I'm risking heading back to explorer!
Anyone else got a bright idea?
Running XP Minimising add ons and background aps doesn't help
