I really need help with my tabs! The tabs originallly had sites on them but they have became New Tabs after unresponsive script and firefox crash!
Hello all. I really need your help. As i said above my tabs originally had sites on it but after the unresponsive script and Firefox's crash it had become New Tabs instead of having the sites on it. It did not occur to all my tabs but its right in the middle of other tabs which are fine. And i did not notice this at all until i was just scrolling through to see my older tabs. I clicked it there's absolutely nothing on it, no URL or anything. I am so upset and stressed with this.... I did not bookmark them either. I know i have quite a number of tabs... I thought of managing them next month as i am free. Starting of this year and till now i am really busy. Is there anyway that i could recover them? I really need my tabs back! I would appreciate your help!

Unless you remember what was in the missing tabs . . . .
One idea it to create a new folder in the Bookmarks folder and place your list of tabs here. Or, create a folder on your desktop.
You can check in the Firefox profile folder if there is a numbered sessionstore-##.js file that has an older session.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
Which want are you talking about? I will upload a screenshot here. By the way this is the first time the problem has occurred to me. All this weird problems started since the new update 29.0 or 29.0.1. Since the latest update Firefox never gone one day without a crash or unresponsive script... Does clearing cookies help?

I do notice a numbered pref-1.js file from last year (4/27/2013) that you can remove.
There aren't any numbered sessionstore-##.js files present, so you do not have that as an option.
You can try to restore a previous version of the sessionstore.js file.
- Right-click: Properties > Previous Versions

Can i know whether add-ons may be causing this? Will disabling my add-ons could recover my tabs back? I really really need my tabs back. I really appreciate your help.
The sessionstore.js file shows a rather high file size of about 8 MB, so that might be part of the problem.
You may want to bookmark all open tabs if you want to keep them and try to rename the sessionstore.js file to sessionstore.js.sav to let Firefox create a fresh sessionstore.js file.
Hello there. Thanks for your quick reply. What will happen when i rename it to sessionstore.js.sav? Do i have to disable my add-ons before doing this? Since June is coming will it retain its older data or something? Cause i am really scared that my tabs might be gone forever once June comes along, and i have to search through history for my tabs which i really don't have time for. Do you know how to bookmark all the open tabs at once? Well some of them are bookmarked but just to keep things in order how do I duplicate the bookmarks? Really appreciate your help cor-el.
Hello there. There's no answer yet from you. I really apologize for asking too many questions. I just want to badly recover my tabs back. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. If there's only a good solution to recover them back then all my problems would be gone.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).
Hello there. The situation is getting worst. As more and more tabs are getting lost(Becoming New Tabs which They used to have sites on)... I am not even half done bookmarking them. I am still quite busy and i am trying to solve this problem ASAP. If i start a new session i would not be able to bookmark them and there's a possiblity that they might be lost forever... Please help me out and is there anyway to bookmark them altogether or something cause just bookmarking them one by one takes forever.
