firefox wont allow google tab to be added to yahoo tool bar

i mainly use yahoo as my home page, using f'fox as the browser, however, f'fox does not allow me to add and keep Google tab to the yahoo tool bar. am i missing something here or does F'fox not recognize Google ??.
