Dear,

I updated to Win8.1 and since then I cannot play any video (youtube or other platforms) using Mozilla 31.0. When I open Youtube I get the msg "The Adobe Flash Pugin haas crashed". I send the Crash Report but nothing changes. I also uploaded to Shockwave Flash 14.0.0179 the lastes available the problem is still there. As last resort, I unistalled Firefox and installled again...the result does not change and I always get the msg "The Adobe Flash Pugin haas crashed".

Is it only me or other users have the smae issue? Thanks a lot for your time and plese let me know how to solve this issue.

MM

Sorry to hear about the Flash plugin crashing.

When Firefox or Flash crashes, it usually records information about what was happening at that moment. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox Crashes" (especially the last section) for steps to get those crash IDs, and then post some of the recent ones here.

On some systems, there is a problem with the protected mode feature of the Flash player plugin. To avoid those problems you need to disable it, which involves creating or editing a settings file. The following pages/posts provide different ways to do that:

Flash needs to completely unload from memory (exiting and starting Firefox up again might help) before this takes effect.
