Boot your system in SafeMode by Holding the F8 key on startup and check whether it happens or not
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Note that using Firefox 11 isn't safe.
