I have been using the Adobe Flash Player 14 ActiveX with IE/Bing and Google, but I keep getting the request to install Adobe Flash Player 14 ActiveX plugins on the newly installed Firefox/Mozilla when browsing on certain sites. Why?

hello, activex is a proprietary microsoft technology for internet explorer and chrome ships with its own bundled flash player. to get falsh to work in firefox you'll have to download the flash player "for other browsers" from http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
To make sure you do not get Google Chrome and or McAfee Security Scan as part of the Adobe Flash download if you forget to uncheck, try this link instead for the latest Flash version.
