I accidentally reset Firefox back to default, can my mistake be undone?
I was troubleshooting on how to fix a problem with Firefox running extremely slow and somehow accidentally clicked on the Reset Firefox to its default state button. I lost all my saved passwords, user ID's, addon extensions, etc. Can this be undone? I've even tried to reset my computer back prior to a date with no luck. I have Firefox version 32 and run Windows 7 professional.

Hello wolfinator,
Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support.
When you reset Firefox your old Firefox profile information will be placed on your desktop in a folder named "Old Firefox Data". Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
You can copy the file you want to restore to your new profile folder. Look at this for info on how to do.

These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backup of files that you choose.
