Delete downloaded update files on Windows
I am using FF 32, and I don't want to update to FF 33. The update has already downloaded. How can I remove the update files and disable the "Install Updates" dialogue?

Try changing the update settings to "never." Although, I can't see why so many people have problems with keeping browsers updated. Updates fix problems, add features, and fix security risks!

Thanks.
For me, it's the frequent UI changes. I already installed the update on my work computer and had big problems adjusting to the new interface. I just want to wait until I now how to configure the new version properly.
I wouldn't mind updates if they would only concern security and stability issues.
PS: Your suggestion helped. The dialog has disappeared.

There's virtually no differences in the UI between Firefox 32 and 33. What's the problem with Firefox 33, as you see it?
That's a different topic, but the toolbars changed and the search field was hidden after the update on my office PC. (Probably the toolbar changes I am referring to were from 31 to 32, but I don't want to take the risk again ;). )

Updating from Firefox 32 to 33.1 doesn't actually change the UI, plus it fixes a lot of bugs and security holes, so you should definitely update. You can always change UI's as well.
Thanks Tyler, that's a helpful hint. I will dig into the toolbar configuration later to be prepared for the next update.
BTW: I don't mind updates in general. I just want to be in control.
