Problem using POGO on Firefox
I switched from IE to Firefox because of problems, but I access POGO.COM pogo won't load my home page. I just checked and it loads fine when using IE or Chrome. Is there some setting I should change to correct this problem?

How far can you get. For example, are you able to log in successfully?

Could you check Firefox's address bar for a possible plugin activation message? On a page that uses a plugin, you will see an icon similar to a Lego block in the address bar. If you click that, it will inform you about plugins the page wants to use, and you can allow or block them.
I checked. The icon had a notice of one plugin abd it was adobe flash which I clicked continue to allow. There are no other notices pr warnings on the firefoxc page.
So do you get a blank page instead of your Pogo home page? I don't have a Pogo account, but if you describe the steps to re-create the error, another volunteer might be able to figure out what's happening.
More generally:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- (Menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page (and logging in again). Does that help?
NO. I get into POGO games and can play them all fine. Pogo has a home page where you put all your favorite games and it also lists special weekly challenges where you earn many more points and 2 daily games . What loads in Pogo is a generic page that only shows about 10 random games but none of the special challenges. I feel the problem MUST be with Firefox because IE & Chrome both load my home page just fine.
Okay, thanks for the extra details.
So that page behaves as though you are not logged in -- it just shows a generic page that it would show any stranger? Does it show your user name on the page?
Websites generally recognize you from page to page using a cookie, but it's puzzling that some parts of the site would recognize you and other parts wouldn't.

Sorry, I'm obviously not explaining the problem very well. I guess you have to be familiar with playing those games there to really understand. I am logged into Pogo. Yes it recognizes me and my history of earned tokens, When I said generic, I meant the page isn't really like a home page, not even the one you see before you login. It just shows some very large icons for what appears to me to be randomly chosen games. You can click on those icons & play those games, so it's not a dead page. I can get it to load my home page if I click on the home tab several times, but it reverts back that what I called generic page in a few seconds.
The very puzzling thing to me is that I don't have the same problem with the other two browsers, and the problem on Firefox just started. Was there an auto update that could have made the difference? I've double checked my system to make sure there weren't any new programs installed or any add ons that are new. I've also cleared the cache and history.
Hmm, pages seldom change on their own. I would suspect a content-blocking add-on, but I don't know why its behavior would have changed suddenly on one installation of Firefox.
