100% cpu usage NONE of the standard articles address this
All the articles are outdated
This problem NEVER gets answered.
Since last upgrade it's started all again.
Why is this happening? AND why would Mozilla address the problem?

hello, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...
I Can't get this message:"Please keep the length of your content to 10,000 characters or less. It is currently 19,571 characters."

Try to disable OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in Firefox enabled.
- about:config page: layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled = false
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
Thank you cor.el
Tried all of that and no nothing has changed. was going to paste a screen shot of status here but wont let me past in comments
Did also look for update on graphics....could not connect to intel..will try again.
