Is Thunderbird search completely useless?
Hi,
I've been searching for all messages from a company called "Phillip Lowe". So I searched for "Lowe", with an "e" on the end. The share however returned all messages with "low", without the "e". Low is a common word and swamped the results.
Another example. Went to receive some messages I had about car parking. Searched for "parking", got back loads of results for "park", I have loads of messages with the word "park", I want the ones with "parking", not "Park".
I can't find anything! How can I get Thunderbird to search for what I ask it to? At the moment it's a useless function.

How exactly do you search? There are multiple possible ways.
Global Search is one way. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-search
You may start with the Quick Filter Toolbar though. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/quick-filter-toolbar
