I'm using Firefox 36.0. Under OPTIONS, although I can see the various settings/tabs, none of them will work.....everything is frozen...
In selecting OPTIONS, the page opens with STARTUP/DOWNLOADS/TABS. However, nothing I "click" on with open any of these functions, nor am I able to change the General/Search/Content/etc on the left side of the screen. Any suggestions??

hello jeffmcintosh, can you try to refresh firefox and see if this addresses the issue?
Philip -
tried that, nothing. Tabs are still frozen
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
