I want to import my outlook mail and contacts to thunderbird, outlook is my standard mailclient but thunderbird is a standard mail client too! I have set outlook as the standard client in settings but checking thunderbird options in the general tab i try to uncheck e-mail but that is not possible. I think i have found a way to fix this problem for my emails. I have found a usefull utility that converts all outlook messages into eml files. These files can be imported using the import / export tools: https://freeshell.de//~kaosmos/mboximport-en.html into Thunderbird, i now have all my outlook messages imported into Thunderbird with the same folder structure.

This is the page where you can find the utility: http://www.outlookfreeware.com/en/products/all/OutlookMessagesExportEML/
