installed firefox 38.0.3 update. Now all App logins not being cleared of name and p/w data upon "log out"
I just loaded the Firefox 38.0.3 update on my MacBook Pro. Now none of the log in and password information is being cleared from the account log in box, when I log out. When I call up the same login box again, my user name and password are ALREADY FILLED IN. I can then access account(s) with out re-entering the login name and password.//Tried several logins and all respond the same. Once I enter the login info it remains in the login entry box. I tried deleting the login info and closing the app. When I called up the app the login box was still populated with my login name and password. HELP! PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!! All other firefox ops seem O.K.// Note: I have rebooted my Mac but nothing changed.

If you sign off then you clear the cookie that authenticates you and you need to sign in again. If you visit the log in page then Firefox will normally fill the name and password automatically unless the website is using autocomplete=off (not sure if this is still respected in Fx 38).
You can set the signon.autofillForms pref to false on the about:config page to prevent Firefox from filling the name and password automatically.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
