Replies and new mails retain recipients and attachments from the last mail sent. Is this happening to anyone else?
I have just installed TB 38.01 Two things are happening - either the recipients and attachements are retained from the previously sent mail, or when pressing reply, no recipients are indicated (I would expect the sender of the mail I am replying to to be placed as a recipient). I am using identity chooser 1.8.8 (by speedball 2001) but the problem exists regardless of whether this is activated or not.

Does it work correctly if Thunderbird is started in safe mode??

I was not aware of safe mode, but it is acting normally today - perhaps I should have restarted the computer after installing the new version? If it happens again, I will try safe mode. Thanks for responding. Stelios
