In our enterprise, we update Firefox monthly and have a preferred configuration but beginning with a recent version, after upgrading, users are presented with a splash screen to encourage them to create a Mozilla account (or something like that) and we would like to suppress that. We already use the mozilla.cfg file as well as a custom user.js file but it's not clear exactly how to suppress this first run splash page.

You could try to lock browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone

  • lockPref("browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone", "ignore");
