Tabs have disappeared altogether in 42.0 (Windows 10). I can open a new one with the file menu but that is then the only one I can see. There is no tab+

Tabs have disappeared from the top of the screen (no tab with + sign). I can open a new tab via the file dropdown but then it is the only one I can see and I can't access the previous tab. Effectively there is no tab function at all and opening in safe mode is just the same.

Issues have been previously linked to the McAfee Site Advisor extension. Try to disable it and see if the problem persists.

To disable it: Type "about:addons" in the Location bar Find the extension and click on its "Disable" button

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Actually, it eventually sorted itself out with a simple refresh. Oddly, it didn't seem to have anything to do with extensions. Thanks anyway
