Hi, please see if anything here helps - Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

Shockwave Flash crashes prevent me from getting into Settings page and following the std procedure for de-enabling hardware acceleration...how to get around this? MS Explorer seems to be fine...

IE uses a different version of Flash (ActiveX) then the Plugin version of Flash used by Firefox; And Chrome uses yet another version of Flash (Pepper) Apples vs. oranges when trying to strike a comparison.

I Firefox - Options > Advanced -> General - Browsing = 3rd item - Use hardware acceleration when available = is that disabled?

This is not a cure, but should let the web page load without crashing.

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

Tried the process suggested by edmister, then reloaded browser...flash plugin still crashes.

The suggestion by FredMcD is appreciated, but is basically an invite for me to switch to MS Explorer as my default browser, which is what I'm going until someone comes up with a solution that allows me to use Firefox with video/movie functionality.

I'm open to other recommendations...
