When will Thunderbird have a search function that really works?

more options

The current search function is basically useless. One needs to be able to search for all of the words in the search string (AND not OR) and have more options in the filter criteria. Examples; messages only from a given person, search in title or message body or both.

Relevance has little meaning when OR is the only option in the search criteria.

One should be able to enclose an expression in quotes to search for an exact string.
