We use websiteforge.com to host our website and we are unable to use right click to paste content into our blog editor. They are saying that it is an issue with Firefox. Can you help? Thank you.

Our tech support just said "It is an issue with the way the browsers are interacting with the WYSIWYG editors."

What happens when you right-click? By default, you would normally get Firefox's context menu. However, some sites show their own menu when you right-click. What do you see, or do you not see any menu?

On Firefox's context menu, if you are clicking in a text area (such as the one I'm typing in right now), or if you click in a contenteditable section of a document, you should see a Paste option if there is something on the clipboard that can be pasted. Is that not appearing, or not working?

Can you paste using Ctrl+v?

You can also try the Insert keyboard shortcuts if other methods aren't working.

  • Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert (Mac: Command + C)
  • Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (Mac: Command + V)
  • Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete (Mac: Command + X)

That fixed the problem, thank you! Although it says its not recommended to have it running all the time, so we have to enable it any time we want to use right click, but at least we have a solution thank you!
