Cannot get Firfox or Thunderbird to connect to internet, although Internet Explorer does!
Yesterday I was in the middle of installing WinRAR on my computer when I started to get warnings about possible viral activity. I cancelled the installation before it finished and then uninstalled the remains through Programs and Features. Since then none of my Mozilla programs will connect to the internet (Firefox and Thunderbird) but all of my others will. I since ran a thorough scan with AVG and deleted 5 Trojans in the process, but still the Mozilla problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but it still fails to connect with the internet. I'm scared to try anything to fix Thunderbird as it handles multiple email accounts and I cannot lose my archived emails. Can anyone suggest a fix or scan that I could try?

I have attached an image of a box that comes up when I try to connect with Firefox. Also I saw something about Profile Missing. They might just be random messages.

Also Make sure all the viruses are gone, you may need to go into safemode, and do other work to really get rid of viruses. Back to your screenshot try opening again this time click where it says details and see what it says copy and paste that info here, it should be (as alike with firefox) should be a number and letters, these will help solve crash errors. Be sure to keep AVG on your computer and keep all your flashplayers, add ons and firefox up-to-date.
You can check in the the Windows Control Panel if you can find "NVIDIA Network Access Manager" or "NVIDIA ForceWare Network Access Manager" and uninstall this software.
