I have started experiencing loss of some of my tabs after restore (that is, empty tabs in the middle), they seem all to be the ones I use on daily basis while I have yet to see any of the tabs I haven't used in weeks lost, I tried using Session Manager, but it loses exactly the same tabs (when I open firefox and spot empty tabs & choose to load a saved session, the empty tabs remain empty), the only method that works is saving all of my tabs in bookmarks, but if I use that I have to load every tab at once & then unload the tabs I don't need (because at the moment firefox with all of my tabs loaded eats 2GB of memory, I have a total of 8), what is causing this and what can I do to fix it?

nevermind, looks like renaming sessionstore.js solved the problem

aaand the same problem came right back again.

so I keep losing some tabs when ever I close firefox without deleting the files in the sessionstore-backups -folder & when I delete the files in that folder before closing firefox works perfectly, any idea what might be causing the problem/how to fix it (deleting the files manually every time I want to close firefox is a bit much for a permanent solution)?

problem got worse so I finally reinstalled firefox, I didn't do it before because I feared losing all of my bookmarks etc. (it isn't everyday that one uninstalls firefox so I wasn't sure what remains after uninstall/what remaining files from previous installation are overwritten on reinstall), looks like firefox left my profile intact, complete with my settings and browsing history.

so yeah, to anyone with the same problem: reinstall.

the problem came back almost immediately, I have unistalled and reinstalled three times now, and now it looks like it won't fix the problem even temporarily as every time I close firefox and open it again there are 10+ empty tabs
